Nicole and Ina from Elder Placement Professionals were fantastic.  I was having a hard time convincing my Dad he needed assisted living.  I had toured a number of assisted living possibilities with Nicole but so far my Dad had refused to leave his home.  However, after his 4th fall and hospitalization within a year, the reality set in that we needed to find a place immediately.  Ina was amazing in arranging one more tour and following up with all the details I needed.  Based on what I had explained to Ina and Nicole, they found the perfect place for my Dad.  He actually loves his new home, he has a great room overlooking the hills and the staff are so friendly and attentive.  He has been there about six weeks and doesn't want to leave.  Nicole even visited him after he settled in and he was so happy.  Ina still checks in with me periodically to see how we are doing. I appreciate the time, effort and energy they put into my situation!! They not only provided information of facilities in another state, but Nicole drove me around to several assisted living homes in our area realizing I may not even move my mom here. Nicole cares. And Nicole is there for the Senior and for the family from first contact to lifelong advisor - and even friend. When I approached Nicole randomly at a summer BBQ and told her about Mary, Nicole instantly said, "Let me see what I can find." Frankly, I didn't expect much. Nicole barely had the pieces to work with, but her passion for a Senior in jeopardy was so strong, she contacted me the next day with options. Mary's blood family lived in another state, but Nicole started working with Mary's daughter remotely. It took three placement possibilities, but Mary's extensive family-of-friends-network truly understands it was only with Nicole's help that we were able to "rescue" our friend from another part of California where she had been transferred after a debilitating stroke. Our friend, Mary was able to come home to SLO. It was Nicole's expertise, diligence, respect and connections with providers in SLO ended the struggles Mary was having and her friends and daughters were witnessing. And most of all it was Nicole's caring heart that created a miracle - extending Mary's life with dignity in her beloved hometown with friends who could finally be there for Mary. Nicole and her staff were absolutely incredible with our family. Their knowledge, communication and dedication were fantastic. The people that came to help with my Dad were incredibly kind, patient and empathetic.  They were not only supportive for my Dad but for my Mom as well.
They pivoted and shifted and helped at all turns.
They all made a very difficult situation, manageable.

Nicole is absolutely amazing. My wife was struggling with trying to get her mom into a skilled nursing facility. Nicole has been extremely responsive and knowledgeable. She has helped my wife navigate through this challenge, made phone calls on her behalf and made great recommendations. She has been a blessing and my wife is very grateful to have her on our team.
